About the Journal
The Asian Journal of Law and Policy (AJLP) is an open access online journal which does not impose an article processing charge. The editorial board invites original unpublished manuscripts that address any legal issue of interest to academics, practitioners, experts and students in the area of law. AJLP is a peer-reviewed journal with a dedicated mission of contributing to original and high quality research.
The journal will be divided into four sections: research articles, case commentaries, legislative updates and book reviews. For book reviews, authors and publishers of recent legal treatises are invited to contact the journal to explore the possibility of reviewing their publications.
Articles are not confined to the doctrinal approach. We highly welcome contributions employing a comparative, empirical, socio-legal, or interdisciplinary approach. All articles submitted to the journal must be in the English language.
AJLP publishes half-yearly in January and July. We expect the review and publication process to take about three months from submission to publication. The inaugural issue of the journal appeared in July 2021.
